Common Sense Leadership for the Lowcountry

Lee Edwards has spent a lifetime serving the community he proudly calls home. A Charleston native, small business owner, and conservative leader, Lee is running for the South Carolina State House because he believes the people of West Ashley, James Island, and Johns Island deserve a representative who will put citizens ahead of politics and results ahead of excuses.

For decades, Lee has served in leadership positions focused on improving lives, protecting taxpayers, and strengthening the community. As Chairman of the Budget Committee for the St. Andrews Public Service District, Lee helped cut property taxes by 26% while maintaining essential services. He has also served on local and state boards, including the South Carolina Educational Lottery Commission.

Today, Lee is ready to take that same practical, conservative approach to Columbia.

Lee on the Issues

Fix the Traffic

Residents are spending more time stuck in traffic than ever before. Lee has long warned about the need for better planning and infrastructure investment. He will fight for practical solutions that improve mobility and reduce congestion.

Cut Taxes

South Carolina families deserve to keep more of what they earn. Lee supports reducing the state income tax and lowering the overall tax burden on working families.

Protect Seniors

Many seniors are being taxed out of the homes they worked their entire lives to afford. Lee will advocate for meaningful property tax relief for older citizens and those on fixed incomes.

As a small business owner, Lee understands the challenges entrepreneurs face. He will work to remove unnecessary regulations and create a business climate that encourages growth and job creation.

Put Constituents First
